The mouth of wind

The mouth of wind

Sings many voices
Thrusted through
Various throats
And windpipes
The beast
Without fur or teeth
Howling angry curses
To whip stillness away
Or screams
in triple octaves
Be free
It says
No body is yours
To keep
But I remain
A wandering clown
Ageless and wise
Angels of skies
Until this place rots
Disintegrates past
Ash and dust
Where nothing shall exist
For I have brushed
The sandy surface of
Mars and Saturn
Farther in the sky
Than planes
Or birds
Farther along the sea
Than you know
And I will sing to you
Songs of my sorrow
Songs of my peace
Songs of happiness
Through my travels
And know
It is beautiful
